Three ways in, one room
You hire rarely, each hire changes the company, and you do not have a recruiter on retainer. Here you read a person's field notes, their work, and references sealed by the people who gave them, before you spend an hour on a call. There is no fee to enter and no percentage of salary at the end. Founding businesses are in free while the member beta builds, and you deal with the founder directly.
You know the role better than anyone and you are tired of screening resumes that all say the same thing. Here the evidence comes first: answers to hard questions in the person's own words, work samples you can open, and a dated word on when they can start, confirmed by them. You request an introduction; the member decides; then you run your process as usual.
You answer for the fairness of the process and the quality of what reaches the hiring manager. Here no one can pay to appear first, there is no hidden score on anyone, and a member can decide who may not find them. Businesses are verified on their company domain, and the rules are the same for every business in the room.
Time, stated as facts
A member who says "available now" has confirmed it themselves within the last three weeks. A claim that goes unconfirmed steps down on its own to "open to conversations." Nobody is listed as reachable who is not.
Notice periods and graduations are dated on the profile, so a vacancy you need filled in three months can be matched to a person who is free in three months.
People exploring a move quietly can be found by you without being found by their employer: a member names the companies that may not see them, and for those companies the profile does not exist.
We state facts about availability and never promise outcomes. How fast a hire happens depends on the role, the people, and you.
Enter by being real, then read the evidence
Registration takes a sign-in address on your company's own domain, and the founder confirms the registration with the company directly. Recruiting and staffing firms are not admitted; the room is for businesses that hire for themselves.
There are no job listings here. You read evidence: field notes, work samples, sealed references, confirmed availability. The directory is ordered by recency, never by who paid.
You ask; the member accepts or declines; only then do contact details move. Open requests are capped, and an unanswered request expires on its own, so nothing sits in a black hole on either side.
Your interviews, your offer, your paperwork. ALO ARK is the venue, never the recruiter. When employer access opens, a private requisition will let you state what you need and have the people who fit told, all at the same moment; it is never a public posting, and it lapses unless you confirm you are still hiring.
Nothing until a hire is confirmed
The first hundred businesses hold a numbered founding place. They pay nothing during early access, go through the door first when employer access opens, and have a direct line to the founder.
A business pays a subscription for search and introductions, plus a flat fee for each hire confirmed through the platform. The fee is flat, never a percentage of salary, and always cheaper than a recruiter's fifth of first-year pay. No hire, no fee. Exact prices are published before anyone is charged.
Not visibility, not ranking, not placement. Paid tools for a business sort and narrow what you look at; they never move a person for money, and no member can pay to rise either.
Employer access is earned, not scheduled
The founding waitlist is open now. Members enter at the member beta later this fall and build their evidence profiles. Verified businesses come in once there are enough members to make a search worth running; no business pays to search an empty room. Founding businesses hear first, by email.
Every founding business writes its first requisition with Sian Reid, in person, in fifteen minutes: the role, the arrangement, the tools, the start, the place. Book a time, or write to founders@aloark.com.
