What a member builds
A member's record on ALO ARK. It is built from things that can be checked: field notes, work samples, sealed references, and a dated word on availability. It is not a resume and not a feed. A living record the member owns.
A member's written answer to a hard, specific question about their work, in their own words: what broke, what they decided, what they would do differently. Field notes are the part of the record that cannot be copied from a template.
A thing the member made, attached to the profile with a link or a file, so a reader can open it rather than take a claim on faith.
A reference written by the person who gives it, from their own inbox, and sealed so the member cannot edit it. The giver chooses whether their full name or initials appear, and can withdraw the reference at any time, forever. A member holds at most three. A reference from a professor, a coach, or a volunteer lead counts exactly as much as one from an employer.
The member's verified record as a portable document and as data: download it, choose which sections a share carries, create a share, and revoke any share in one tap. ARK EP is the program name; to a member it is simply their Evidence Passport.
A member who is "available now" has confirmed it themselves within the last three weeks. An unconfirmed claim steps down on its own to "open to conversations." Availability is a fact a member states, never a signal ALO ARK sells.
How people meet
Where profiles are found. It is ordered by recency and evidence, never by payment, and there is no feed. Money never buys visibility on ALO ARK, on either side of the table.
A member's control over who may not find them. Name the companies, domains, and people who should not see the profile, and for them it does not exist. Built for people exploring a move while employed.
The only way contact moves. A verified business asks; the member accepts or declines; only on acceptance do contact details change hands. Open requests per business are capped, and an unanswered request expires on its own.
A company registered on its own domain and confirmed by the founder with the company directly. Freemail addresses are refused, and recruiting and staffing firms are not admitted.
Professionals, builders, businesses, students
A numbered place, № 001 to 100, in one of three founding registers: professionals, builders, businesses. Each register fills once. Founding members go through the door first at the member beta and keep their number forever; founding members hold the Plus tier free for six months.
The builder's side: list a project, name the roles, and recruit a team from inside the community. Every listing declares its arrangement upfront (paid, equity, exploratory, or volunteer), so nobody is asked to work for a vague promise. Joining a team is free; keeping a project listed past 30 days is the paid act.
The declared deal on a Build Teams project. A project cannot exist without one.
Free for students while enrolled, verified by a school inbox. Opens with the member beta, together with First Season by ALO ARK, so a student finishes school with a profile full of proof.
The student program: a first lap through real work, built so the evidence a student leaves school with is theirs to keep.
Free, Plus, Pro, Premier, and Student. Joining is free. A fully complete profile earns Plus free for a set season. Paid tiers start at less than two coffees a month and add tools, never visibility; they go on sale only once identity verification is in place, and nobody is charged before then.
Things that help, and never move anyone
A free tool, open to anyone without an account: your real numbers, how many months they cover, and what each lever changes. Private; nothing is stored.
The member's own runway inside the profile, carried forward from the calculator so the money question is answered once and kept current.
A private statement of what a business needs: the role, the arrangement, the tools, the start, the place. It is never posted. ALO ARK matches it to the members who fit and tells them all at the same moment; it lapses unless the business confirms it is still hiring.
A paid business tool that orders the people who fit one requisition by stated rules about fit to that requisition, with every reason shown to the business and to the member. No member can pay, or do anything paid, to move; no standing score is stored on anyone; every member stays findable, and contact moves only by consent.
A paid business tool that narrows a requisition's matches to members whose record meets a stated minimum of evidence. It narrows what a business reads; it never ranks a person.
A member tool in the Premier tier: when a requisition matches, the application is prepared to 95 percent and the member does the last mile. Every matched member is told at the same moment and can apply by hand; the business never sees who used the tool.
A Premier tool: the member names the companies and roles they care about, the platform prepares, and the member fires. It is designed and queued behind the paid tiers; it is not built.
What is paid, and what never is
What a business pays when a hire made through ALO ARK is confirmed: a flat amount, never a percentage of salary. No hire, no fee. Exact prices are published before anyone is charged.
The standing law. No member and no business can pay to appear higher, sooner, or more often. Paid tools add capability; they never move a person in any list or order.
